This class is appropriate for beginners in yoga and people with experience in other methods of yoga. This class focuses on building an awareness of body alignment, mental focus, and a strong foundational understanding of yoga asana (poses). The intention is to develop the strength and flexibility that will encourage confidence and serve and support a person in continuing on the path of yoga. The emphasis is on basic standing poses and some introduction to seated poses, back bends, and inversions.
