Chair Yoga

This class is for anyone who has ever been curious about trying yoga but hesitated because of the challenge of getting down or up from the floor as required for a traditional yoga class, or has doubts about being able to "do" yoga. You'll be encouraged to explore your abilities; learning postures and breathing exercises with the support and stability of a chair or wall, building strength, flexibility and balance - taking some of the mystery out of giving yoga a try. Chair Yoga can be incorporated into a support plan for cancer, other chronic illnesses and conditions, or re-entering your practice while recovering from surgery or injury. All newcomers of any age or fitness level are welcome.
