This class is appropriate for beginners in yoga and people with experience in other methods of yoga. This class focuses on building an awareness of body alignment, mental focus, and a strong foundational understanding of yoga asana (poses). The intention is to develop the strength and flexibility that will encourage confidence and serve and support a person in continuing on the path of yoga. The emphasis is on basic standing poses and some introduction to seated poses, back bends, and inversions.

Level 2 - Iyengar From $10 per visit with First Class passPurchase required to enroll

This class builds on the skillful understanding that begins in level 1 but emphasizes developing more stability and balance, more advanced standing poses, and longer holdings and variations in inversions. It also includes more seated poses and back bends and an introduction to other categories of poses such as arm balances, twists, and restorative poses. It is helpful to have some experience with Iyengar yoga when attending but not necessary.

This is a slower-paced, more gentle class than the regular Level 1. Breath and movement are linked together to mobilize joints and build strength safely. The needs and abilities of each student are respected in an atmosphere free of expectations. Ideal for the absolute beginner, seniors, and those recovering from injuries.

This class allows students who are new, or have limited experience, to learn and practice yoga fundamentals, while offering experienced students an opportunity to re-root to the basics. New poses are introduced at a moderate pace to allow student growth and evolution in their personal yoga practice. This class is a combination of measured flow and hold with time spent on step-by-step explanation of how to create a pose with an emphasis on proper alignment.

Mixed Level - Vinyasa From $10 per visit with First Class passPurchase required to enroll

These classes are open to all levels of practice. Your instructor will give you options and modifications throughout the class, based on the students present. More complex poses may be introduced for advanced students, while beginners can work at their own level. If you are brand new to yoga, we strongly advise that you begin with a Level 1 class.

Students attending this class should have a good working knowledge of the poses, and experience in level 2 classes. You can expect a vigorous flow style class designed to expand awareness of breath and physically challenge the body. We will play with arm balances and explore inversions & deeper backbends. You'll work hard but have fun doing it!

This class is great for brand new beginners to get acquainted with yoga. Each week a fundamental yoga concept will be explored and may include a specific pose or group of poses, anatomy, mindfulness or yogic philosophy. Students practice proper alignment in a relaxed, non-competitive setting, and are introduced to basic variations of poses with awareness, in a slow, safe and detailed way. Yoga Fundamentals is also an option for those who prefer to stay with a gentle/basic class.

Level 2 - Vinyasa From $10 per visit with First Class passPurchase required to enroll

This class is for students who are comfortable with the postures introduced at the basic level and who feel ready to explore additional poses integrated into a faster paced flow. Introduction to inversions, arm balances and deeper backbends may be offered in this class.

This is a more relaxed paced, more gentle class than the regular Level 1. Poses are held longer assisted by the use of props to facilitate a deeper relaxation. All students must be able to move to the floor and be able to get back up on their own.

In this class, you can expect a series of postures with emphasis on alignment, coordinated with the breath, to build strength and increase flexibility, self-awareness and ending in deep relaxation to integrate the practice. These classes emphasize precision and body awareness and use props such as blocks and straps to facilitate movement into the poses.

This class is specifically formatted to address the physical and emotional needs of those affected by cancer and it’s treatments. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, or a survivor, yoga can further your journey of recovery. Physically, classes will build strength and flexibility in safe ways, stimulate the immune system and move lymph and build bone density. Yoga also gives cancer patients and survivors a venue to build community and feel empowered to take control of their well-being.

Mother/daughter yoga is the perfect place to move, breathe, and smile together through a basic vinyasa flow peppered with breathing exercises, partner poses, games, and wrapping up with a cozy savasana.
